Berlin, 2 March, 2015 – The ITB in orange and black: Sixt has been an integral part of the world’s leading travel trade show, the ITB, in Berlin (4 to 8 March, 2015) for many years and will again be presenting the entire spectrum of its innovative premium products and services to visitors from around the globe. This year, Sixt is represented on several stands at the world’s largest industry show: the main stand can be found in hall 9 (stand 121), and offers visitors and business partners a forum with opportunities to meet, greet and exchange opinions and ideas. Sixt will be inviting guests to a rather special highlight from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on 4 and 5 March – the Orange Hour with music and cocktails.
Sixt will also be present with a stand in the USA Hall (hall 2, stand 219), where visitors can find a comprehensive range of services for all travelers to the United States. Sixt is driving ahead with its ongoing expansion on the North American continent and, in the meantime, operates more than 50 offices at airports and in the downtown areas of the most important travel destinations – for instance, Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, Phoenix, San Diego, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Detroit and Chicago. Further offices are scheduled to open soon in cities such as Boston and Philadelphia. With its rapidly growing network of offices and its premium offers with attractive terms, Sixt is becoming more and more popular with business and private customers from North and South America, the Caribbean and visitors from Europe.
Sixt on the stands of long-standing partners
Sixt can also be found on a number of other stands at the ITB. One of the most important of these is the presence of Sixt in the Lounge of the Verband Deutsches Reisemanagement (VDR, the German Travel Management Association), in hall 7.1A, on stand 100: Sixt has been a close partner of the association for many years and offers its numerous members attractive terms for premium mobility services. The VDR campaigns for efficient and cost-effective global corporate travel.
Visitors can also find out more about the Sixt portfolio of services at the Deutsche Zentrale für Tourismus (DZT/GNTB – the German National Tourist Board) on stand 102 in hall 12. Sixt and the GNTB have also been partners for many years. Sixt is a preferred partner of the GNTB, and offers its members flexible and convenient mobility options. Visitors to the Sixt stands at the ITB can take a closer look at the premium vehicles, the new, high-quality counter design and Sixt’s innovative social media activities.
Sixt is also the mobility partner of the ITB Business Travel Days 2015. The congress of the travel trade show communicates extensive know-how on strategies and methods for the tourism segment and offers opportunities for open dialogue between the numerous international experts attending the show.
