EU Commission certifies that Sixt’s pricing policies comply with consumer protection laws

Pullach, 12 August 2014 – The EU Commission has investigated six international car hire companies for discriminatory pricing practices against consumers.

In a press release from 11 August 2014 and in a separate letter, the EU Commission has confirmed for Sixt SE that its pricing policies for car hire are in full compliance with the European Union’s consumer protection regulations. Customers of Sixt are not being subjected to discriminatory practices. In regard to this matter, Sixt would like to emphasize that the company has always − even before the probe by EU Commission − applied non-discriminatory pricing policies.
