Hi, my name is Craig Olson and I oversee Franchise Development for Sixt Franchise USA, LLC. We are looking for new franchisees in the US & Canada, and I’ll be blogging on a monthly basis to provide updates on our franchise expansion efforts.
Sixt had one of the most prominent and highly visited booths at the 18th annual Car Rental Show in Las Vegas, held April 15th and 16th. This year’s show brought in over 700 attendees from 25 different countries! We were well represented at the show by some of our international master franchisees, from Ireland and Mexico, as well as our newest US franchisee who will be opening in Las Vegas this summer. I really enjoyed meeting so many new people from the car rental industry, many of whom are very excited to explore a franchise opportunity with Sixt!
I also had the pleasure of participating in a panel discussion about the Changing Landscape of Franchising, where most of the discussion revolved around the pros and cons for an independent car rental owner to join a franchise system. There are definitely trade offs to consider, but the robust discussion we had clearly illustrated how a global franchisor like Sixt can help an independent car rental owner take their business to the next level.
Our US franchise expansion effort is gaining momentum. Our first US franchisee has already opened in March in Tampa, Florida. We have several other new franchisees on board that are finalizing preparations for their grand openings in Las Vegas, Charlotte, Jacksonville and other major cities and airports. I am looking forward to finalizing many more franchise agreements in the near future! There are still many more great airports and markets available in the US & Canada. If you are interested in a franchise with Sixt, you can reach out to me directly at email@example.com or visit our website at www.sixt-franchise.com.
