Munich, December 4, 2013 – Sixt, Germany’s largest rental car company and one of Europe’s leading mobility service providers, has been honored with two World Travel Awards. The company received awards as the World’s Leading Business Car Rental Company and the World’s Leading Luxury Chauffeur Service. Sixt was presented with the awards at a ceremonial gala event in Doha.
Since 1993, the World Travel Awards have been conferred to companies to honor outstanding achievement. The award, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is considered to be one of the most prestigious accolades in the travel and tourism industry. It honors the best company products and services at the national, regional, and international levels. The World Travel Awards ceremony is held each year at a gala event in front of an audience made up of decision makers and leading personalities from the tourism industry as well as the trade and consumer press.
